Information we process
CodexDrive may process account identifiers, purchase and license records, device activation identifiers, registered vehicle identifiers (hashed VIN + last four characters), credit activity and support communications. Stripe processes payment details; CodexDrive does not receive complete card numbers. Crypto payments may include transaction hashes you voluntarily submit as proof.
Why we process it
We use this information to authenticate accounts, fulfill purchases, issue and enforce licenses, maintain credit balances, provide support, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. With your consent, we may also use analytics and advertising cookies (see the on-site consent banner).
Vehicle data
The desktop product is designed around local vehicle operations. Data sent to online services is limited to what a feature requires. VINs are personal data in some jurisdictions; do not submit a VIN you are not authorized to use.
Retention and rights
Records are retained for licensing, fraud prevention, accounting and legal needs. Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion by contacting support@codexdrive.app.
